SARTELL, Minn. — Jessica Massimo (Kenosha, Wis.) just continues to get better with age.

The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota freshman posted her collegiate-low round—for the third consecutive outing—Sunday afternoon, carding an 86 to help lead the Cardinal women's golf team to a 13th-place finish at the Saint Benedict Invitational.

Massimo, who opened her collegiate career with an 89 on Friday at the Mac/Mary Dual, shaved a stroke off that effort during Saturday's opening round of the 36-hole Saint Benedict Invitational—and knocked two more strokes off during Sunday's final round en route to her 174 two-day total.

Annie Lorsung (Amery, Wis.) delivered 98 Sunday to finish at 194, followed by Michaela Heuckendorf (Plymouth / 104-95—199), Megan Larson (Galesville, Wis. / 97-103—200), and Annika Blesener (North St. Paul, Minn. / 107-100—207).

Carleton ran away with the team title, posting a 596—37 strokes in front of runner-up Gustavus—while the Knights' Ziyi Wang (73-72—145) and Ayumi Sakamoto (73-75—148) were the top two individual finishers.

The Cardinals are back in action next Saturday and Sunday, traveling to Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa to take part in the Wartburg Invitational.
