  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cardinals picked up their first win of the season last Sunday, topping Augsburg 1-0 to move to 1-1-0 on the season. … Mary Loy (Burien, Wash.) scored the only goal of the game less three minutes into the first half, and the Cardinals made it stand up. … Jordyn Matthews (Seattle, Wash.) picked up the assist on Loy's goal, giving the junior 34 career points in her first 20 games as a Cardinal. … Alexis Nguyen (West Corvina, Calif.) stopped all three shots she faced in the Cardinals' 1-0 win over Augsburg last Sunday en route to her first collegiate win and her first collegiate shutout. It was the second straight game in which Nguyen has made three saves. … Haddy Falkman (Waconia, Minn.) and Nicole Thompson (Riverside, Calif.) share the team lead in shots attempted (3), while Kaley Manglitz (Onalaska, Wis.) holds the top spot in shots on goal (2). … Last Sunday's 1-0 win over Augsburg was not only the Cardinals' first win of the season, but it was also Nick Rizzo's first win as SMU's head coach. … The Cardinals are coming off a 10-7-1 season in 2019 — marking the first time since 2007 that Saint Mary's has won 10 games in a season.
  CONCORDIA COBBERS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cobbers enter Saturday's matchup against Saint Mary's still searching for their first win of the season having dropped 1-0 and 2-1 decisions to Bethel and St. Catherine, respectively, in their first two games of the year. … Grace Lawlor owns the Cobbers' lone goal this season, scoring in the 84th minute of last Sunday's 2-1 loss to St. Catherine. … Breanna Nelson collected her first collegiate point last Sunday, assisting on Lawlor's goal. … Klara Beinhorn owns a team-leading three shot attempts, while Beinhorn and Samantha Holmberg share the team lead with two shots on goal. … Breanna Nelson has been in goal for both of the Cobbers' games this season, compiling a 1.50 goals-against-average and a .727 save percentage. … Nelson has stopped eight of the 11 shots she's faced this season.
