  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cardinals enter Monday's nine-inning rematch against the Oles boasting a 12-7 conference record, while sporting an 18-10 overall mark. … Last Saturday's 8-4, Game 1 loss to St. Olaf snapped the Cardinals' season-high six-game winning streak. Saint Mary's is 11-3 over its last 14 games. … Will Matthews (Geneva, Ill.) went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in the opener against St. Olaf last Saturday, while Andy Tepp (Stevens Point, Wis.) and Justin Weinberg (Eagan, Minn.) each had two hits. In the nightcap, Tepp added three more hits in four at-bats, while Weinberg and Matthews both had two hits. Trevon VanEgtern (La Crosse, Wis.) drove in a career-high four runs. … Matthews is hitting a team-best .348 among regulars with 60 or more at-bats, while Weinberg is  also hitting above .300, sitting at .323. … Matthews leads the team in hits with 31, one more than Weinberg, while also boasting a team-high nine doubles, 20 RBIs, 43 total bases and a .483 slugging percentage. … Weinberg has scored a team-leading 25 runs. … The Cardinals have gotten at least one RBI from 18 different players. … Matthews and Liam Belleveau (Middleton, Wis.) hit home runs in the Cardinals' 11-1 win over Concordia on April 17. It was Matthews' fourth of his career, while Belleveau's was his first. Belleveau becomes the third Cardinal to hit collegiate HR No. 1, joining Jack Arndt (Coon Rapids, Minn.) and O'Brien, who each belted their first collegiate home runs — the Cardinals' first two round-trippers of the season — in SMU's 5-4 win over Augsburg on April 11. … Tyler O'Brien (Belle Plaine, Minn.) recorded his first collegiate three-hit game against Concordia on April 17. … Drake's four runs scored in the nightcap against Crown on March 29 were a single-game career-high and marked the first time since Joe Seegers against Rose-Hulman on March 1, 2018 that a Cardinal has scored four runs in a game. … Matthews has posted a team-high eight multiple-hit games, one more than Weinberg. … Arndt recorded a two-out double in the bottom of the seventh — his first collegiate hit — to break up St. Thomas' Game 2 no-hit bid on April 3. … Anderson drew a single-game career-high three walks against Luther on March 20. … Saint Mary's stole 15 bases in its DH against Macalester, including four by Zach Drake (Westby, Wis.) … Luke Gilbertson (Windom, Minn.) tossed a complete-game, six-hit shutout in Game 2 against Macalester last Thursday. It was the junior's first collegiate game, and first collegiate shutout. The nine-inning effort was also the longest outing of his Cardinal career. … Ryan Wolfe (Wabasha, Minn. / 4-3, 4.38 ERA) has thrown a team-leading 37.0 innings to pace the Cardinal pitching staff, while sharing the team lead in wins (4) with Gilbertson. …Wolfe tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout against Augsburg on April 10. Wolfe faced just 22 batters — one over the minimum, and allowed one a third-inning single. It was his third career shutout and fifth career complete game. … Wolfe has thrown two of the team's three complete games, with Gilbertson's effort last Thursday against Macalester accounting for the other. … Justin Haugo (Springfield, Minn.) collected his first collegiate pitching win against Augsburg on April 11, tossing four innings of shutout relief in the Cardinals' 5-4 victory. … Addison Hochevar (Lake Geneva, Wis. / 3-1, 2.35 ERA) earned his first win as a Cardinal, throwing four scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits and striking out eight in Saint Mary's 5-3 Game 1 win over Augsburg on March 16. Jordan Zabel (Elgin, Minn.), meanwhile, collected his first collegiate pitching win against Gustavus on March 26, tossing three innings of shutout, one-hit relief. … Jonathan Cieminski (Fountain City, Wis. / 0-0, 4.08 ERA) recorded his first collegiate save in the nightcap against Carleton on April 6, facing the minimum nine batters in three innings of relief. … With their 8-7, 10-inning win over Concordia on April 17, Saint Mary's has now played 10 games decided by two runs or less — including six one-run contests.   ST. OLAF OLES SCOUTING REPORT
The Oles two games against Saint Mary's last Saturday were their first since April 3, when they pushed their overall record to 7-1 with an 11-3, 16-4 sweep of UW-Superior. … St. Olaf opened its season with three straight wins — beating Hamline twice (5-2, 7-1) and Bethany Lutheran (7-1), before suffering its first loss of the season, a 7-6, eight-inning loss to Bethany Lutheran in the second game of their doubleheader on March 17. The Oles then swept Augsburg (6-0, 8-5), before taking two from UW-Superior and two from Saint Mary's. … Joey Glampe owns a team-leading .636 batting average, while TJ Rogers (.432), Matthew Muller (.405), Bobby Isbell (.355), Andrew Nomoto (.343), Sam Lavin (.333), and Travis McDonald (.313) are all hitting above .300 through 10 games. … Along with his team-leading .636 batting average, Glampe also leads the Oles in hits (21), home runs (3), RBIs (18), total bases (35), slugging percentage (1.061), and on-base percentage (.667). … Rogers has scored a team-high 15 runs, two more than Muller, while Muller has belted a team-best eight doubles. … St. Olaf has hit five home runs in its first 10 games, three by Glampe and the others off the bats of Muller and Nomoto. … Sam Westermeyer (3-0, 3.71 ERA) has tossed a team-high 17.0 innings to lead the Ole pitching staff. … Westermeyer also leads the team in wins with three, one more than Forrest Kobeit (2-0, 1.13 ERA, 8.0 IP) and Hunter Barber (2-0, 4.41 ERA, 16.1 IP). … Westermayer, Barber, and Sam Lavin (1-0, 0.77 ERA, 11.2 IP) have made a team-high four pitching appearances. … Lavin owns a team-high 13 strikeouts, four more than Westermeyer. … St. Olaf has scored five or more runs in all 10 games this season — including a season-high 16 runs in their 16-4 win over UW-Superior on April 3.
