  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cardinals enter their doubleheader against Hamline on the heels of an impressive 11-0 win over St. Olaf on Monday. With the win, SMU improved to 13-7 in conference play, while sporting a 19-10 overall mark. … Last Saturday's 8-4, Game 1 loss to St. Olaf snapped the Cardinals' season-high six-game winning streak. Saint Mary's is 12-3 over its last 15 games. … Justin Weinberg (Eagan, Minn.) went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored in the Cardinals' 11-0 win over St. Olaf Monday. Eight of the 10 Cardinals with at least one at-bat vs. the Oles Monday had at least one hit. … Andy Tepp (Stevens Point, Wis.) had five hits in SMU's two games against St. Olaf on Saturday, and added another hit Monday. … Will Matthews (Geneva, Ill.) is hitting a team-best .348 among regulars with 70 or more at-bats, while Weinberg and Taylor Anderson (Waukesha, Wis.) are also hitting above .300, sitting at .347 and .304, respectively. … Weinberg leads the team in runs (27) and hits (34), while Matthews is the team-leader in doubles (10), RBIs (21), total bases (45), and slugging percentage (.489). … Anderson has induced a team-best 17 walks and boasts a team-high .427 on-base percentage. … Weinberg's four-hit showing against St. Olaf Monday — the Cardinals' first four-hit game of the season — pulled the senior into a tie with Matthews for the team lead with 10 multiple-hit games. … Tepp leads the team with six multiple-RBI games. … Matthews and Liam Belleveau (Middleton, Wis.) hit home runs in the Cardinals' 11-1 win over Concordia on April 17. Wolfe faced just 22 batters — one over the minimum, and allowed one a third-inning single. It was his third career shutout and fifth career complete game. … Luke Gilbertson (Windom, Minn.) tossed a complete-game, six-hit shutout in Game 2 against Macalester last Thursday. It was the junior's first collegiate game, and first collegiate shutout. The nine-inning effort was also the longest outing of his Cardinal career. … Wolfe has thrown two of the team's three complete games, with Gilbertson's effort last Thursday against Macalester accounting for the other. … Justin Haugo (Springfield, Minn.) collected his first collegiate pitching win against Augsburg on April 11, tossing four innings of shutout relief in the Cardinals' 5-4 victory. … Addison Hochevar (Lake Geneva, Wis. / 3-1, 2.35 ERA) earned his first win as a Cardinal, throwing four scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits and striking out eight in Saint Mary's 5-3 Game 1 win over Augsburg on March 16. Jordan Zabel (Elgin, Minn.), meanwhile, collected his first collegiate pitching win against Gustavus on March 26, tossing three innings of shutout, one-hit relief. … Jonathan Cieminski (Fountain City, Wis. / 0-0, 4.08 ERA) recorded his first collegiate save in the nightcap against Carleton on April 6, facing the minimum nine batters in three innings of relief. … With their 8-7, 10-inning win over Concordia on April 17, Saint Mary's has now played 10 games decided by two runs or less — including six one-run contests. The Pipers head into their doubleheader against Saint Mary's sitting at 5-6 in conference play and 10-14 overall. … HU picked up a pair of wins in its three-game series against Augsburg over the weekend, sandwiching 2-1 and 6-0 wins around a 5-4 Game 2 loss on Saturday. … Hamline has won four of its last five, the lone loss last Saturday's 5-4 setback against Augsburg. … Cullen Buck is the Pipers' offensive leader, hitting .370.
