• 1: Megan Nadal (Chino, Calif.) made her first collegiate start in goal for the Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team in last Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Luther. The sophomore stopped seven of the eight first-half shots she faced.
• 1-0-1: The Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team moved to 1-0-1 in its last two games against St. Catherine. The Cardinals handed SCU its lone conference loss of the season a year ago with a 2-1 victory, before battling the conference’s defending champs to a 1-1 draw last Saturday.
• 2: Maddie Dosser (South St. Paul, Minn.) collected wins in both singles and doubles to pace the SMU women’s tennis team at last weekend’s ITA Midwest Regional/Gustavus Invitational.
• 2: Lauryn Skoruppa (Littleton, Colo.) scored her team-leading second goal of the season — and of her collegiate career — in the SMU women’s soccer team’s 2-1 nonconference loss to Luther last Wednesday.
• 3: The Saint Mary’s volleyball team had three players record double-doubles in the Cardinals’ 3-1 win over Ripon last Friday at the Ripon Red Hawk Invitational. Ciarra McNally (Lewiston, Minn.) finished with 16 kills and 19 digs, while Mandy Schmidt (Mitchell, S.D.) added 22 assists and 16 digs, and Abbie Stigler (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) chipped in 11 kills and 10 digs.
• 3: Cerim Palislamovic (Jacksonville, Fla.) scored his third goal of the season in the SMU men’s soccer team’s 2-1 loss to unbeaten UW-Eau Claire last Saturday — moving the sophomore into a tie for the team lead in goals.
• 5: The Saint Mary’s volleyball team posted five double-doubles in its three matches at last weekend’s Ripon Red Hawk Invitational. Ciarra McNally (Lewiston, Minn.) accounted for two of the five double-doubles, with Larkin Clem (Elk River, Minn.), Mandy Schmidt (Mitchell, S.D.), and Abbie Stigler (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) collecting the other three.
• 8: Daniel Sessler (Brookfield, Wis.) stopped a season-high eight shots in the Cardinal men’s soccer team’s 1-0 nonconference loss to Simpson last Wednesday.
• 12: Alexis Nguyen (West Corvina, Calif.) made a career-high 12 saves in SMU’s 1-1 tie against St. Catherine last Saturday. It was the second time this season the senior has stopped 10 or more shots in a game, having posted a 10-save effort against Saint Benedict on Sept. 17. Nguyen has now made 10 or more saves in each of the Cardinals’ last two meetings against St. Catherine, owning 10 saves in last season’s 2-1 win over the Wildcats.
• 16: Brenna Bruchert (Eau Claire, Wis.) delivered a career-high 16 kills in leading the Cardinal volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Ripon in their opening match of the Ripon Red Hawk Invitational last Friday.
• 38: Ciarra McNally (Lewiston, Minn.) led the Saint Mary’s volleyball team with 38 kills at last weekend’s Ripon Red Hawk Invitational. McNally has now recorded 10 or more kills 31 times in her collegiate career — including seven matches of 20 or more kills.
• 66: Larkin Clem (Elk River, Minn.) dished out a team-leading 66 assists in leading the SMU volleyball team to a 2-1 record at last weekend’s Ripon Red Hawk Invitational. Clem has now posted 20 or more helpers in four straight matches.
