NEW ORLEANS – All Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Data is compiled
based on Regional TFRI.
Zari Young, a standout freshman in the Saint Mary's track and field program, has become the first athlete since Anna Swanson in the 2022 season (javelin) to earn NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honors for the program.
Young, a native of Chicago, Illinois, has garnered attention with her impressive sprinting achievements during her rookie season.
She broke the school's indoor 60m record twice, ultimately setting a new mark of 7.69 seconds and capturing the MIAC indoor title in the event.Â
Her momentum carried into the outdoor season, where she shattered a 100m school record that had stood since 2001 with a time of 11.88 seconds, earning her the MIAC 100m championship.
Not only has she excelled individually, but she also played a key role in the 4x100m relay team that set a new school record with a time of 48.69 seconds.
With so much of her career still ahead, this Cardinal is poised to be a major force on the track.
