NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Making their All-Region debuts was senior Samantha Munson (Plain City, Utah/St. Joseph) and sophomore Mya Slavin (St. Charles, Minn./St. Charles) after the pair had continuously broken records and each crowned MIAC Indoor Champions.
Munson claimed the All-Region honor after earning the school record in the 200m sprint with her 25.42 mark that earned her first crown as a champion at conference.
Slavin is also earning her first All-Region honor after a first place finish in the mile with a 5:00.60 time before breaking that record last weekend with a 4:49.65 time.
Sophomore Zari Young (Chicago, Ill./Holy Trinity) claimed back to back honors in consecutive seasons after becoming the back to back 55m MIAC champion. Her 7.11 time in the sprints ranked her nationally but she just missed out on a chance at nationals.Â
The three Saint Mary's student-athletes are the most posted to the USTFCCCA All-Region Indoor honors list since the 2020 season.
