Brooklyn Paulson kicked off her collegiate career in style for the Saint Mary's women's basketball team, averaging 13.5 points-per-game in the Cardinals' two showings at the Saint Benedict Quinlivan & Hughes Tip-Off Tournament last weekend.

Paulson — named to the All-Tournament Team — delivered 16 points, a pair of assists and a steal in last Friday's season-opening 72-62 loss to Simpson, before adding 11 points, four rebounds and five assists in the Cardinals' 87-76 win over Nebraska Wesleyan the following afternoon.

Paulson heads into Tuesday's nonconference game at St. Scholastica averaging a team-best 13.5 ppg on 9 of 19 shooting — including a 7-for-15 performance from behind the 3-point line.
