Lichttenegger kicked off the outdoor season the same way he closed out his indoor campaign — in record-setting fashion.

Lichttenegger broke his own two-year-old school record in the 100 at the UW-La Crosse Ashton May Invitational last Saturday, stopping the clock in 10.74 to place second. The Cardinal junior posted a school-record time of 22.60 in the indoor 200 at the MIAC Indoor Championships — his final indoor performance at
