The senior goalkeeper stopped both second-half shots she faced in relief in last Wednesday’s 1-0 win over UW-Stout, before adding a five-save shutout in SMU’s 0-0 stalemate against Augsburg three days later.
 
Nguyen heads into this week’s games against St. Olaf, Bethel, and UW-Stevens Point boasting a 0.92 goals-against-average and an .862 save percentage.
 
Nguyen and the Cardinals — who are riding a five-game unbeaten streak (3-0-2) — have a busy week ahead, taking on St. Olaf (Wednesday) and Bethel (Saturday) in MIAC contests, before squaring off against UW-Stevens Point in a nonconference matchup on Sunday.
