Amy Sibik (Onalaska, Wis.) scored SMU's game-winner in the team's season final vs. Augsburg on Oct. 28. It was the junior's team-leading 14th goal of the season. Sibik's 14 goals last season — which were a single-season career high — gave her 34 for her career and moved her within three goals of Barb Bock for No. 6 all-time. … Sibik has recorded eight multiple-goal games in her career — including posting her first three-goal and four-goal games last season. …
Caitlyn Cole (Larson, Wis.) boasted a team-best seven assists in 2009. … SMU will be without graduated senior GK
Mariana Sanchez, who closed out her senior season boasting a career-best 1.05 goals-against-average and an .842 save percentage. … Sanchez finished with a season-high five shutouts last season and ended her collegiate career with 12 shutouts, tying her with Jennifer Johnson for fifth all-time in career shutouts. … Six of Saint Mary's nine wins a year ago came on its home field, where the Cardinals boasted a 6-2-1 overall record. … Five of SMU's nine wins were by one goal – including three decided by 1-0 decisions. … The Cardinals won six of their seven nonconference games last season, pushing their record to 34-3-1 in their last 38 games vs. non-MIAC foes to 34-3-1.
