Wartburg Invitational Results
WAVERLY, Iowa —
Gia Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) followed up her opening-day 91 with a 94 Sunday to lead the Saint Mary's University women's golf team at the Wartburg Spring Invitational.
UW-Eau Claire rallied from four strokes down to win the team title with a 36-hole score of 653, six shots better than first-round leader St. Olaf. Wartburg (665), Buena Vista (704) and Carleton (714) rounded out the top five. SMU did not field a complete team and did not figure into the team standings.
Along with Puch's 94—185, the Cardinals' also got a 93-103—193 from
Jenna Mrozinski (North St. Paul, Minn.) and a 106-110—216 from
Lauren Ulbrich (Rochester, Minn.)
