WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's soccer team was forced to delay its 2014 season opener — thanks to Mother Nature.
 
Thanks to a thunderstorm that moved into the Winona area around 5 p.m. — and wouldn't leave — the Cardinals home-opener against UW-River Falls was postponed and rescheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Ochrymowycz Field.
