LAKE CITY, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's golf team hits the road this weekend, traveling to the Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn., to compete in the 36-hole D3 Classic, hosted by Carleton.

Kaitlin Kling (LeRoy, Minn.) have been sharing the medalist duties—with career-best performances—this season. During the second round of the Wartburg Invitational last weekend, Kling carded a team-best 88 to lead Saint Mary's to a 16th-place finish. It was Gately's turn to take center stage—equaling Kling's career-best showing with her best round as a Cardinal—shooting an 88 during the opening round of the Division III Classic at The Jewel. And a day later, Kling regained Saint Mary's top spot, whittling three strokes off her career-best showing, shooting an 85 to lead the Cardinals to a 15th place finish in their final tune-up before the regular-season ending conference championships |
