Madison Gately (Glenview, Ill.) carded the Cardinals' low round in the first round of the D3 Classic last weekend, shooting a 92, while
Kaitlin Kling (LeRoy, Minn.) was the team-leader in Round 2 with an 88. … Kling's opening-round 94 at the D3 Classic last Saturday snapped a streak of four straight rounds of 87 or lower. … Kling recorded the Cardinals' low round of the season on Sept. 12, shooting an 83 during the opening round of the Wartburg Invitational. … Kling's 83 was two shots better than her previous career-low round of 85—shot during both rounds of the Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 5-6, as well as during the 2014 D3 Classic. … Gately followed up her opening-round 92 with a 94 at the D3 Classic for a 185 total, while
Paula Avila (Weslaco, Texas / 95-95—190),
Haley Jung (Monticello, Minn. / 95-100—195), and
