Kaitlin Kling (LeRoy, Minn.) has been the Sain tMary's University of Minnesota women's golf team's leader all season—and Sunday was no different.
Kling, who carded a nine-over-par 81 during Saturday's opening round of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, carded a second-day 86 Sunday for a team-best 167 36-hole total.
With Kling leading the way, the Cardinals head into Monday's final round sitting in ninth place with a 745 total.
Madison Gately (Glenview, Ill.) finished with an 89 on Sunday to go with her opening-day 91 for a 180 two-day total.

Grace Gillis (New Ulm, Minn. / 100-102—202),
Sarah Munns (White Bear Lake, Minn. / 113-124—237) rounded out the Cardinals' lineup.
First-day leader St. Catherine continued to hold down the top team spot, shooting a second-day 311 for a 630 total and a 10-shot lead over Carleton. St. Thomas is currently third (642), with Gustavus (647) and Bethel (647) rounding out the top five.
St. Catherine's Abby Conzemius is the individual leader, after shooting an eve-par 72 Saturday for a 152 36-hole total. Bethel's Christine Piwnicais (77-76—153) is one-shot back of Conzemius, followed by Carleton's Alyssa Akiyama (77-77—154), Rachel Morris of St. Thomas (80-75—155), and Saint Benedict's Natalie Amundson (82-75—157).
The final round of the 54-hole tournament will be held on Monday at Bunker Hills Golf Course.
