MADISON, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's tennis team put an end to their two-match losing streak in impressive fashion Friday evening, as the Cardinals rolled to an 8-1 nonconference win over Edgewood at the Cherokee Country Club.
The Cardinals kicked things off in doubles play, jumping out to a 3-0 win—thanks to wins by

Bobby Tiedemann (8-3),
Robbie Sobczak/
Alex Holm (8-3), and
Alex Zuzek/
Gabe Graves (8-0), and never took their foot off the accelerator.
Saint Mary' s followed the doubles sweep with straight-set wins by Sobczak, Tiedeman, Zuzek, Holm, and
Ryan Hippman in singles. Amiotte was a hard-luck loser at No. 1 singles, falling 6-4, 7-6 (12-10).
The Cardinals (3-5 overall) head to Orlando, Fla., for spring break, squaring off against Havover on Tuesday, before taking on Adrian the following day.
