DECORAH, Iowa — Jessica Massimo (Kenosha, Wis.) carded a team-best 991 to lead the way for the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's golf team during the opening round of the Luther Invitational Saturday at Oneota Golf Course.
 
Annie Lorsung (Amery, Wis.) chipped in a 94 for the Cardinals, followed by Michaela Heuckendorf (Plymouth, Minn. / 95), Annika Blesener (North St. Paul, Minn. / 102), and Dani Stevens (Delano, Minn. / 109).

The Cardinals return to Oneota Golf Course on Sunday for the second day of the 36-hole event.
