DECORAH, Iowa — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's golf team is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, heading to Oneota Golf Course for the 36-hole Luther Invitational.

• For the second week in a row, Annie Lorsung (Amery, Wis.) put together a career-best showing during the second round of a tournament. Just a week after shooting a team-low 92 at the Wartburg Fall Invitational on Sept. 9, Lorsung fired a team-best 90 during Round 2 of the Saint Mary's Invitational last Sunday. … Jessica Massimo (Kenosha, Wis.) fired rounds of 88-95 at the Saint Mary's Invitational last weekend to lead the team with a 153 36-hole total, one shot better than Lorsung (94-90). … Megan Larson (Galesville, Wis.) shaved nine shots off her opening-round 105, shooting a 96 last Sunday at the Saint Mary's Invitational for a 201 36-hole total, a mark equaled by Dani Stevens (Delano, Minn. / 102-99—201), while Michaela Heuckendorf (Plymouth, Minn.) rounded out the Cardinal lineup with a 203 (100-103). … Larson carded a career-best 93 during the second round of the Wartburg Fall Invitational on Sept. 9. … With her opening-round 88 at the Saint Mary's Invitational, Massimo has now carded the team's low round in five of their seven competitive rounds this season. … Massimo opened her collegiate career with an 89 at the Mac/Mary Dual on Aug. 31, and followed that up with rounds of 88 and 86 at the 36-hole Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 1-2. … Heuckendorf, who posted a career-best round of 89 at last year's Wartburg Fall Invitational, carded a season-low 95 during the second round of the Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 2. … Massimo heads into this weekend's Luther Invitational owning a team-low 90.43 scoring average. She is followed by Lorsung (94.86), Larson (100.14), and Heuckendorf (100.67).  Saint Mary's posted its top team total of the season during the second round of the Wartburg Fall Invitational on Sept. 9, carding a 377, two shots better than the 379 they posted during Round 2 of the Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 2.
