WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's soccer team returns home to Ochrymowycz Field for Senior Day on Saturday, as the Cardinals entertain Concordia in a 3:30 p.m. conference matchup.

• Saturday's game against Concordia is the fourth home game in the last five contests for the Cardinals, who are 4-3-0 on their home turf this season. … The Cardinals' 1-1 decision against Carleton Tuesday was their second overtime game — and their first tie of the season. … Both of Saint Mary's overtime games this year have gone into double overtime. Along with Tuesday's tie against Carleton, the Cardinals also dropped a 4-3 2 OT decision to St. Olaf on Oct. 2. … Jordyn Matthews scored her team- and conference-leading 13th goal of the season to account for the Cardinals' goal against Carleton Tuesday. … Matthews scored a pair of goals against UW-Superior on Oct. 7, marking the fourth time this season the Cardinal sophomore has posted a multiple-goal game. On the flip side, Saint Mary's opponents have netted nine goals in the first half and eight after halftime. … Five of the Cardinals' six wins this season have been by shutout. Four of the Cardinals' six losses, meanwhile, have been by one goal — the lone exceptions, a 2-0 setback against Saint Benedict on Oct. 5 and last Saturday's 4-0 loss to Bethel. • Saturday's game against Saint Mary's is the final road game of the season for the Cobbers, who are 3-3-0 on the road this season. … Tuesday's 1-0, two-overtime loss to St. Thomas was the Cobbers' second straight overtime game — CC dropped a 2-1 OT decision to Macalester last Saturday. … Karsten Granning enters Saturday's matchup against Saint Mary's leading the Cobbers in both goals (11) and points (26). … Granning's 11 goals — which include a team-high four game-winners — rank her third in the MIAC, two goals back of conference-leading Jordyn Matthews of Saint Mary's and Ashley St. Aubin of Augsburg. … Rachel Nemer is the team-leader in assists with five, one more than Granning and Grace Lawlor. … Granning is one of three Cobbers with 10 or more points through 14 games, being joined by Klara Beinhorn (8 G, 2 A, 16 Pts) and Kalli Baarstad (4 G, 3 A, 11 Pts). … Lexi Jemtrud has started all 14 games in goal for the Cobbers, compiling a 1.69 goals-against-average and a .691 save percentage. … Jemtrud has stopped 47 of the 68 shots she's faced and owns one shutout. … Erin Larsen has appeared in seven contests between the pipes, compiling a 1.10 GAA and .714 save percentage in 164 minutes of relief work. … After opening the season 5-0-0, the Cobbers have gone 3-6-0 in their last nine contests. … Four of Concordia's eight wins have come via shutout.
