Boone, who closed out the indoor portion of his senior season in style with three first-place finishes at the COVID Clash, stopped the clock in 11.32 to win the prelims of the 100, then did that one better with a time of 11.16 in winning the finals. Sydney Klausler (Lakeville, Minn.) chipped in a pair of firsts, in the long jump (5.32m) and as part of the 4x400 relay, while Rachel Ohde (Chetek, Wis.) paced a 1-2 in the high jump with a leap of 1.58m, and Amanda Tuvey (West. St. Paul, Minn.), Caroline Gearin (Osceola, Wis.), and Samantha Kubes (New Prague, Minn.) — all making their outdoor collegiate debuts — posted firsts in the 1,500 (5:12.21), 400 (59.95), and shot put (10.53m), respectively.
