• 2: The Cardinal track and field teams picked up two first-place finishes at last Saturday’s Carleton Meet of the Hearts. Samantha Kubes (New Prague, Minn.) won  the shot put with a toss of 12.12 meters, while Aidan Gatz (Elburn, Ill.) owned the SMU men’s first-place finish, winning the pole vault by clearing 4.42,
• 3: The Saint Mary’s women’s hockey team’s 3-1, 2-1 wins over Augsburg last weekend marked the third time this season the Cardinals have posted a conference sweep — having also swept St. Olaf (2-1, 2-1) and Concordia (3-2, 3-1).
• 3 x 1: Three of the Saint Mary’s men’s hockey team’s seven goals against fourth-ranked Augsburg last weekend were collegiate firsts. Warner Young (Newberry, Mich.) and Callahan Nauss (Wayzata, Minn.) both netted their first goals in an SMU uniform last Friday, while Alex Cannon (South Bend, Ind.) scored his first as a Cardinal the following evening.
• 3 x 1: The Saint Mary’s women’s hockey team’s three goals in last Friday’s 3-1 win over Augsburg came from three different players — in three different periods. Delaney Wolf (Bismarck, N.D.) scored in the first period, Anne Carmean (Spring Lake Park, Minn.) scored in the second, and Carson Sheridan (Waunakee, Wis.) scored in the third. 
• 3 x 2: The Cardinal men’s hockey team had three players — Tyson Liverance (Burford, Ontario), Matt Hutton (Carmel, Ind.), and Alex Cannon (South Bend, Ind.) pick up two assists in SMU’s 4-1 win over Gustavus last Tuesday. The two assists were Cannon’s first two collegiate points. 
• 4: The Cardinal basketball programs honored their four graduating seniors — who played their final regular-season home game last Saturday against Concordia. Jada Biermeier (Eau Claire, Wis.) is the lone graduating member of the women’s basketball team, while Shawn Stewart (Minneapolis, Minn.), Caden Freetly (Farmington, Minn.) and Zach Kjeseth (Wabasha, Minn.) make up the men’s senior class.
 â€¢ 4 x 2: The Cardinal men’s hockey team’s four goals against both Gustavus last Tuesday and Augsburg three days later came from eight different players. Ryan Stoynich (Calgary, Alberta), Jack Hatton (Naperville, Ill.), Brady Lindauer (Cary, Ill.), and Nick Kiemel (Colorado Springs, Colo.) netted SMU’s four goals vs. Gustavus, while Nathan Solis (Saline, Mich.), Warner Young (Newberry, Mich.), Gabe Potyk (Lake Orion, Mich.), and Callahan Nauss (Wayzata, Minn.) scored SMU’s four goals against Augsburg last Friday.
• 5: The Cardinal women’s hockey team’s five goals against Augsburg last weekend came form five different players — Delaney Wolf (Bismarck, N.D.), Anne Carmean (), and Carson Sheridan (Waunakee, Wis.) scored in last Friday’s 3-1 win, while Kas Kingston (Black Diamond, Alberta) and Ellie Hegdahl (Brookings, S.D.) found the back of the net in the Cardinals’ 2-1 win the following afternoon.
• 6-3: Ashley Renwick (Farmington, Minn.) forced a third set in her match at No. 3 singles, before falling 7-5, 3-6, 10-4 in the Cardinal women’s tennis team’s 9-0 loss to conference-power Gustavus last Sunday.
• 9: With their 3-1 win over Augsburg last Friday, nine of the Saint Mary’s women’s hockey team’ 11 wins this season have been decided by two goals or less. All told, 11 of SMU’s 20 games have been decided by two goals or less.
• 10: Bruce Lockwood (Shakopee, Minn.) hauled in a career-high 10 rebounds in the SMU men’s basketball team’s one-point, 65-64 loss to St. Olaf last Monday. The Cardinal sophomore missed his first collegiate double-double by one point, finishing with nine points and 10 boards.
• 10: The Saint Mary’s men’s hockey team’s 10 points against fourth-ranked Augsburg last Friday — four goals and six assists — came from 10 different players.
• 10 + 11: Raheem Anthony (Chicago, Ill.) picked up his fifth double-double of the season in the SMU men’s basketball team’s loss to league-leading Augsburg last Wednesday, scoring 10 points and adding 11 rebounds.
• 10 + 10: Caden Freetly (Farmington, Minn.) collected his second double-double of the season — and fourth of his collegiate career — in his final regular-season home game, scoring 10 points and adding 10 rebounds in the SMU men’s basketball team’s 65-64 last-second loss to Concordia last Saturday.
• 12: Twelve of the Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team’s 22 games this season have been decided by 11 points or less, including last Saturday’s 65-64 loss to Concordia.
• 13: Izzy Goettelman (Winona, Minn.) scored 13 of her 17 points in the Cardinal women’s basketball team’s 71-54 win over Concordia in the second quarter, when she accounted for 13 of the team’s 18 second-quarter points.
• 13: Caden Freetly (Farmington, Minn.) tossed in a team-high 13 points to lead three Cardinals in double figures in the SMU men’s basketball team’s loss to league-leading Augsburg last Wednesday.
• 14: The Cardinal track and field teams  delivered 14 Top 5 performances at the 14-team Carleton Meet of the Hearts last Saturday.
• 15: The Cardinal women’s basketball team poured in a school-record 15 3-pointers against Concordia last Saturday. The 15 treys broke the old mark of 14, originally set on Feb. 18, 2004 against St. Catherine and equaled — also against St. Catherine — on Jan. 22, 2005.

• 19 + 13: Brooklyn Paulson (Holmen, Wis.) scored 19 points and Izzy Goettelman (Winona, Minn.) chipped in 13, as the duo combined for 32 of the Cardinal women’s basketball team’s 56 points in last Wednesday’s 64-56 loss to league-leading Augsburg.
• 23: Brooklyn Paulson (Holmen, Wis.) netted a team-leading 23 points in the SMU women’s basketball team’s 71-54 win over Concordia last Saturday — it was the second time in the last three games and the eighth time this season that the senior has scored 20 or more points in a game.
