WINONA, Minn. -  Speed and marks meets smarts! Four Saint Mary's University track and field student-athletes have earned Academic All-District honors.

The 2025 Academic All-District men's and women's track & field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, honor the nation's top student-athletes for their outstanding achievements in competition and in the classroom.

Seniors Oliver Adamson, Morgan Wallendal, Sydney Jackman, and junior Sam Munson earn this prestigious academic honor.

Representing the men's team, Adamson, the senior from Rochester, Minnesota, earned his first Academic All-District honor to round out his Cardinal career. The public relations and digital media major earned this honor after an All-Conference honor in the 4x100 relay for outdoors and an Honorable Mention indoor in the 4x200 relay.

Capping off her Cardinal career with a major milestone, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin native Wallendal earned her first Academic All-District honor. The environmental biology major racked up the honors this season with two outdoor Honorable Mention honors in the shot put and the hammer. She also earned indoor Honorable Mention for the weight throw.

Wrapping up her career on a high note, Jackman — a Litchfield, Minnesota native — earned her second consecutive Academic All-District honor. Earlier this season, the biology and nursing major earned All-Conference recognition in the indoor shot put.

Munson earned her first Academic All-District honor in track and field, having previously received her first in women's soccer. The Plain City, Utah native, and a biology and pre-physical therapy major, made a strong impact this outdoor season, earning All-Conference honors in the 4x100 relay and Honorable Mention recognition in the 100m sprint.
