GREENWOOD, Ind.-- Three members of the Saint Mary's men's and women's tennis team were recognized as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees, the organization announced Tuesday, May 12.
Student athletes selected must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be at least a sophomore and must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition.
Zak Farley, Michael Johnson, and Gavin Pratt of the men's program picked up the prestigious nod and Aheli Patel, Emily Dondelinger, and Olivia Molumby of the women's program were also recognized for their achievements.
Juniors Farley and Johnson each are receiving their first All-District honors but each were honored throughout the conference in the fall for the academic standings and earned All-Academic honors. Sophomore Farley is earning his first career accolade.
Senior Patel and sophomore Molumby are each earning All-District honors for their first career accolades for their academic achievements. The lone returning All-District Honors comes from Dondelinger who achieved this achievement for her second year in a row.
The men's team finished with an overall 4-14 record and the women's side finished with a 6-9-1 record.
