Assimos earned all-tournament honors at last weekend's Ground Round Sugar Loaf Classic, after recording 137 assists and 19 kills to help lead the Cardinals to a 3-1 record in the season-opening tournament. Assimos also chipped in two aces, 31 digs and seven blocks in SMU's four tournament matches.
