Schultz was the Cardinal fastpitch softball team's offensive sparkplug in their four games last week, hitting .500 (5-for-10).

Schultz saved her best for Game 2 in each of the Cardinals' doubleheaders last week, going 2-for-3 in the second game against Saint Benedict last Thursday, while adding a perfect 3-for-3 effort in the second game against St. Catherine two days later.

Schultz has now gone a combined 8-for-11 in the second game of the Cardinals’ last three doubleheaders, while her  3-for-3 showing against St. Catherine was her second three-hit game of the season — and her team-leading ninth multiple-hit game.
