Brandon Kurilla went 2-0 for the Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team in the Cardinals’ 7-2 conference win over Concordia last Sunday.
11 wins in doubles play.
The senior outlasted the Cobbers’ Jake Peters, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 10-2 at No. 1 singles, and teamed with Josh Janssen for a hard-earned 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles.
 
For the season, Kurilla has picked up six singles victories ­— all at No. 1 — while adding  11 doubles wins, also all coming from the No. 1 position.
