Last Action:
The Cardinals got a game-high 25 points from Will Wright (Chicago, Ill.) and had two other players score in double figures, but it was not enough, as SMU dropped a 70-62 MIAC decision to Carleton Monday. … Hamline, meanwhile, also had a solid offensive effort Monday, getting four players with 10 or more points, but it, too, was not enough, as the Pipers fell to Bethel 90-75.

Last Meeting: The Cardinals and Pipers split their season series a year ago, with each team winning on the other's home court. In the first game, Hamline turned a 72-72 tie with less than four minutes remaining in regulation into an 85-75 advantage with just over a minute to play en route to a 93-83 victory at the SMU Gym on Dec. 5. SMU turned the tables on Feb. 11 in St. Paul, Minn., getting double-figure scoring from four different players — including a game-high 18 points from Will Wright (Chicago, Ill.) — as the Cardinals put an end to their losing ways with a 77-60 win.
