The Cardinals' 1-0 victory over Macalester a year ago snapped a 14-game winless streak against the Scots, dating back to a 1-0 win during the 1995 season. …  Wednesday's game at Macalester is the final road game of the season for the Cardinals, who are 1-5-0 away from Ochrymowycz Field this year. … Freshman goalkeeper Miranda Halling (Rochester, Minn.) made her sixth straight start Saturday at league-leading Saint Benedict, stopping seven of the nine shots she faced in the 2-0 loss. … Halling has now started nine games in goal for the Cardinals, compiling a 1.42 goals-against-average, while stopping 60 of the 73 shots she's faced. … Both of SMU's wins this season have come by 3-1 scores — the Cardinals beat Marian 3-1 on Sept. 11 and snapped their eight-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over St. Catherine on Oct. 15. … The Cardinals' three goals vs. St. Catherine  came from three different players — Rachel Gates-Vickery (New Brighton, Minn.), Kelsey Schneider (Portland, Ore.) and Tessa Scanlon (Cologne, Minn.).
