The Cardinal men opened their season with a 5-4 victory over St. Scholastica last Friday in Duluth, Minn., while the SMU women beat Bemidji State (7-2) and UM-Duluth (6-3), while losing to St. Scholastica (6-3) during their trip to Duluth, Minn., last Friday and Saturday. … The Carleton men opened its season with a 9-0 win over UW-La Crosse on Jan. 29 and an 8-1 win over St. Cloud State on Feb. 6, while the Carleton women were 9-0 winners over St. Cloud State on Feb. 6.
