Scouting The Saint Mary's Cardinals:
2012 Roster | 2012 Statistics | 2012 Schedule
Four-year letterwinner Jenna Mrozinski (North St. Paul, Minn.) — the only returner on this year's roster, who carded a team-best 96 in SMU's dual-match loss to Macalester on Aug. 31 — was the team leader again at the Wartburg Invitational last weekend. Mrozinski opened the 36-hole tournament with a 92 and followed up with a second-round 93 to help the Cardinals to a 16th-place finish. … Along with Mrozinski's 92-93—185, the Cardinals got a 103-100—203 from Jennie Marx (Austin, Minn.), a 104-105—209 from Kendra Palkowski (Arcadia, Wis.), a 111-103—124 from Haley Jung (Monticello, Minn.), and a 118-125—243 from Jenna Niles (Hector, Minn.) at last weekend's Wartburg Invitational. … Mrozinski, who had not posted a round in the 80s during her first two years as a Cardinal, shot an 86 during the second round of last year's Wartburg Invitational, then recorded a career-best 85 during the final round of the 54-hole MIAC?Championships.
