LA CROSSE, Wis. — Jenna Mrozinski (North St. Paul, Minn.) proved to be a model of consistency during the Viterbo Invitational, as the Cardinal senior followed up Saturday's opening-round 90 with a second-day 91 on Sunday, leading the Saint Mary's University women's golf team to a fourth-place finish.

Host Viterbo won the two-day event with a 686 team total, while Willian Penn was second (700). The V-Hawks' second team finished third (772), while the Cardinals were fourth (783).

William Penn's Maggie Yang and Demi Coertze swept the top two individual places, with Yang shooting 79-81—160, while Coertze was two shots back at 162 (83-79). Mrozinski's two-day total earned her a top-10 finish, placing seventh at 181.

Along with Mrozinski, the Cardinals' Haley Jung (Monticello, Minn.) posted a 194 (94-100), followed by Kendra Palkowski (Arcadia, Wis. / 96-99—195), Jennie Marx (Austin, Minn. / 110-103—213) and Jenna Niles (Hector, Minn. / 118-118—236).

The Cardinals are back in action next Saturday, squaring off against Viterbo in a dual match, before closing out the regular season on Oct. 6-7-8 at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships in Coon Rapids, Minn.
