WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's soccer team plays its second straight home game on Saturday, as the Cardinals host Concordia in a 1 p.m. conference game at Ochrymowycz Field.

Last Action:
The Cardinals got a second-half goal from Sloane Kuramoto (Rochester, Minn.) to tie the game 1-1, but Gustavus answered with the eventual game-winner with less than 15 minutes remaining in regulation to give the Gusties a 2-1 win over SMU Wednesday evening at Ochrymowycz Field. … Concordia, meanwhile, scored the game's only goal with less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half, as the Cobbers beat St. Thomas 1-0 in a battle of the conference's top two teams.

SMU vs. Concordia — Their Last Meeting:
October 1, 2011: When SMU squared off against nationally ranked Concordia in 2010, the Cardinals battled then-unbeaten and league-leading Concordia to a 0-0, double-overtime tie. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, there would be no double-overtime tie this time around, as Concordia scored single goals in each half in handing SMU a 2-0 setback at the Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex in Moorhead, Minn.

The Cardinals are back in action on Wednesday, when they step out of conference play for a 4:30 p.m. showdown with UW-Stevens Point in Stevens Point, Wis. … Concordia, meanwhile, is back on the road on Wednesday, traveling to St. Paul, Minn., for a 5:30 p.m. conference game against Macalester.

Saturday's game against Concordia is the second of back-to-back home games for the Cardinals. … After being held off the scoreboard for her first four games of the season, SMU's Sloane Kuramoto (Rochester, Minn.) has accounted for the Cardinals' last two goals — scoring her first goal of the season against Bethel last Saturday, then adding a second-half tally against Gustavus on Wednesday. … Katie Holmes (Edina, Minn.), Bethany Schmidt (Sparta, Wis.) and Rachel Tackmann (Lake City, Minn.) have accounted for SMU's other three goals this season.
