The Cardinals' Last Action:
If their first round was good, the second was better for SMU. The Cardinals, who shot an opening-round 403 Saturday during the two-day Wartburg Invitational, cut 11 shots off that total in Sunday's final round to finish with a 795 total and a
15th-place team showing.
SMU at Viterbo Invitational — A Year Ago:
Jenna Mrozinski (North St. Paul, Minn.) proved to be a model of consistency during the Viterbo Invitational, as the Cardinal senior followed up her opening-round 90 with a second-day 91, leading the Saint Mary's University women's golf team to a
fourth-place finish. Host Viterbo won the two-day event with a 686 team total, while Willian Penn was second (700). The V-Hawks' second team finished third (772), while the Cardinals were fourth (783).
The Cardinals' Up Next:
The Cardinals are now off until Oct. 5-6-7, when they take part in the season-ending, 54-hole Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
