LA CROSSE, Wis. — A week after Kortney Wobbe (Wabasha, Minn.) and Kelsey Stenzel (Wabasha, Minn.) carded career-best rounds for the Saint Mary's University women's golf team at the Wartburg Invitational, Madison Gately (Glenview, Ill.) decided to get into the action Saturday afternoon at the Viterbo Invitational.

Gately led the way for the Cardinals, shooting a collegiate-best 94 at the La Crosse Country Club.

Along with Gately's effort, the Cardinals also got a 101 from Wobbe, a 107 from Haley Jung (Monticello, Minn.), a 114 from Jennie Marx (Austin, Minn.) and a 118 from Dana Testa.

The Cardinals conclude the two-day, 36-hole Viterbo Invitational on Sunday with another 18-hole round at the La Crosse Country Club.
