MENOMONIE, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University men's and women's track and field teams return to UW-Stout's Sports & Fitness Center for the second weekend in a row on Saturday, as the Cardinals take part in the UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational, beginning at 11 a.m.

• January 27, 2018 * Menomonie, Wis.: Maria Missurelli (Franklin, Wis.), Becca Dup (Albert Lea, Minn.), and Brandon Krogman (Owatonna, Minn.) all had school record-setting meets for the Cardinals — Missurelli in the pole vault (3.40m), Dup in the triple jump (11.03m), and Krogman in the 600 meter (1:23.06), while Austin O'Hare (Rushford, Minn.) also got into the record-setting mix, jumping from second all-time to first all-time in the 3,000 with a time of 8:43.45 to lead the Saint Mary's charge at the non-team-scored event | Recap

• Saturday's appearance at the UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational marks the second straight appearance at UW-Stout for the Cardinals, who took part in the UW-Stout Open last Saturday. … Kyle Lichttenegger (De Pere, Wis.) led the way for the Cardinal men at last weekend's UW-Stout Open, winning the high jump with a leap of 1.83 meters, while Desmond Steward (Bayside, Wis.) chipped in a second in the triple jump (13.58m) and Jon Meaden (Rosemount, Minn.) added a second in the 800 (2:08.78). … On the women's side at last Saturday's UW-Stout Open, Rachel Ohde (Chetek, Wis.) delivered a second-place mark of 1.63 meters in the high jump, and the 4x400 relay team of Alicia Schurrer (Forest Lake, Minn.), Kynzie Smedsrud (Luverne, Minn.), Hannah Crowe (Baraboo, Wis.), and Sydney Klausler (Lakeville, Minn.) posted a fourth-place time of 4:20.94. … Steward uncorked a leap of 13.72 meters to easily win the triple jump, while adding a mark of 6.39 meters to win the long jump at the indoor season-opening Cardinal Early Birdinal on Jan. 12. … Along with Steward's effort, the Cardinals boasted nine other first-place finishes at the Early Birdinal. … Becca Dup (Albert Lea, Minn.) became the Cardinals' first All-American since 2007, placing sixth in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships with a leap of 11.79m. … Dup also placed 11th in the long jump (5.62m) at the 2018 outdoor national championships, while finishing ninth in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships. …
