ONALASKA, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University women's golf team is back in action this weekend, taking part in the 36-hole UW-La Crosse/Viterbo Invitational. Saturday's opening round will take place at the La Crosse Country Club, with Day 2 shifting to The Golf Club at Cedar Creek.

Jessica Massimo (Kenosha, Wis.) carded rounds of 92-88—180 to place 12th individually and lead the Cardinals to a third-place finish at the eight-team Twin Ports Challenge last weekend. … Massimo's second-round 88 was just two strokes shut of her collegiate best — the sophomore posted a career-low 86 during the second round of the 36-hole Saint Benedict Invitational on Sept. 2, 2018. … Massimo has now recorded the team's low score in 12 of their last 16 competitive rounds. …
Celeste Van Klein (Lake City, Minn.) shot the low round of the tournament for the Cardinal at last weekend's Twin Ports Challenge, shooting a career-low 87 during last Saturday's second round. … Van Klein had opened the two-day Twin Ports Collegiate with a 98 to finish second to Massimo with a 185 36-hole total. …
Dani Stevens (Delano, Minn.) chipped in a 98-96—194 last weekend, while
Madyson Ulrey (North Manchester, Ind. / 102-93—195) and
Cassie Sepp (Duluth, Minn. / 109-103—212) — both making their collegiate debuts — rounded out the Cardinals' lineup.
