  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cardinals enter their matchup against St. Olaf on the heels of going 2-2 in their four conference games last weekend. Saint Mary's posted a pair of back-to-back 8-3 wins over Hamline last Saturday, before falling twice to Macalester, 7-2 and 2-0, the following afternoon. … Saint Mary's scored half of its 16 runs against Hamline last Saturday in the fourth inning — plating four fourth-inning runs in each game. … Amber Chow (West St. Paul, Minn.) carried a .462 batting average and a 1.02 ERA in the Cardinals' four games last weekend. … Justine Schultz (Winona, Minn.) went 3-for-3 in Game 1 against Hamline last Saturday, while adding a 2-for-3 effort in the nightcap. … Schultz has now posted two or more hits in a game in three of the Cardinals' last five games — and has collected at least one hit in 12 of the team's 16 games. … Chow and Cassie Sutor (Chicago, Ill.) each had two-hit games against Macalester last Sunday — Chow in Game 1 and Sutor in Game 2. … Chow owns a team-leading .364 batting average and is one of five Cardinal regulars who is hitting above .300, being joined by Lexi Brooks (Searcy, Ark. / .357), Sutor (.344), Schultz (.339), and Jordan Meyers (Eyota, Minn. / .314). … Schultz owns a team-leading 12 runs scored, while Chow leads the team in doubles with six. … Schultz has accounted for two of the Cardinals' three triples this season, and Sutor owns the team's lone home run — hitting her first collegiate round-tripper against Hamline last Saturday. … Chow boasts the team lead in RBIs with 12. … Schultz and Paige Gudmundson (Plainview, Minn.) have each stolen a team-high five bases. … Chow and Schultz hold the team lead with six multiple-hit games and Chow is also the team-leader with five multiple-RBI games. … Schultz and Erin Sullivan (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) have each put together team-high five-game hitting streaks this season, but no Cardinal has a current hitting streak longer than one game. … Mackenzie Carey (Prescott, Wis.) was perfect from the plate in the opener against Augsburg on March 21, going 4-for-4 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored. It was Carey's first four-hit game of her collegiate career. … Chow tossed her fourth complete-game of the season in Game 2 against Hamline last Saturday. … Chow has thrown all four of the Cardinals' complete games this season. … Chow (4-7, 5.16 ERA) leads the Cardinal pitching staff in innings pitched (55.2), appearances (15), starts (9) and strikeouts (27). … Sutor (1-4, 6.67 ERA) has thrown 42.0 innings in 13 appearances and has struck out 21. … Saint Mary's has scored first in three of its five wins, but the Cardinals are just 2-12 when their opponent scores the game's first run. … The Cardinals' 10 runs in their Game 1 win over Augsburg on March 21 marked the second time this season SMU has scored in double figures.   ST. OLAF OLES SCOUTING REPORT
The Oles enter their showdown with Saint Mary's as one of the hottest teams in the conference, riding a six-game winning streak that has them sitting at 6-0 in the conference and 8-2 overall. … St. Olaf has outscored its opponents 57-16 during its current six-game run — including 10-2 and 15-3 wins over Augsburg last Sunday. … St. Olaf is sitting at 6-0 in MIAC play for the first time since 1995 and the team's 8-2 start is the best since 1979. … Hannah Matthies tied a single-game school record with six RBIs in Game 2 against Augsburg last Sunday and finished the doubleheader with nine RBIs. … Julie Graf took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of Game 1, before settling for a two-hitter. … Graf struck out 15 Auggies in Game 1 last Sunday, becoming the 21st pitcher in NCAA history to reach 1,000 career strikeouts. … Graf has now struck out 15 or more batters in a game four times this season. … Graf has thrown a team-leading 36.2 innings, compiling a 5-1 record and a 1.91 ERA, while striking out 81. … St. Olaf boast four Ole regulars who are hitting above .400 — Matthies (.500), Kaleigh Santmyer (.500), Tarah DeCroock (.419), and Ally Bode (.419). … Matthies also leads the team in hits (17), doubles (5), home runs (3), RBIs (22), total bases (31), and slugging percentage (.912). … DeCroock has scored a team-high 11 runs. … St. Olaf has recorded 25 extra-base hits — 17 doubles and eight home runs — among its 111 hits through 10 games. … Matthies has recorded at least two hits in six of the Oles' 10 games, while also putting together five multiple-RBI games. … After being held hitless in St. Olaf's first game of the season against St. Thomas, Matthies had collected at least one hit in each of the team's last nine games. … St. Olaf has scored 10 or more runs in four of its eight wins — including a season-high 15 runs in last Sunday's 15-3 win over Augsburg.
