  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
Saturday's match at Gustavus is just the fourth road match of the season for the Cardinals, who have played eight of their 11 matches on their home courts at the Winona Tennis Center. … All five of SMU's wins this season have been at home. … Last Saturday's 7-2 win over Saint Benedict was the Cardinals' first road win of the season. Saint Mary's is 5-3 at WTC, while going 1-2 on the road. … The Cardinals enter Sunday's showdown with Concordia riding a seven-match winning streak against the Cobbers — including six consecutive 9-0 victories. … Zoie Becker (St. James, Minn.), who had her season- and career-high seven-match singles winning streak snapped with a loss at No. 3 singles against St. Thomas on March 21, enters the weekend's matches against GAC and Concordia riding a three-match winning streak. Becker leads the team with 10 singles wins this season. … Becker, who finished the pandemic-shortened 2020 season at 7-3, now owns a 17-4 career singles record. … Emily Henderson (Jordan, Minn.) also had her singles winning streak snapped against the Tommies on March 21. After dropping her first match of the season, Henderson had rattled off six straight wins. … Henderson and Colleen Lois (Green Bay, Wis.) are second to Becker with six singles wins each, while Natalie Peterson (St. Cloud, Minn.) and Maggie Frye (Colorado Springs, Colo.) are currently third on the team with five singles wins. … Lois is the only Cardinal to play all nine matches at the same position, going 6-5 at No. 1 singles. … Sarrianna Hoffer (Wausau, Wis.) accounted for SMU's lone win against St. Thomas in their last match on March 21. Her straight-set win at No. 6 singles was the first of her collegiate career. … Henderson and Peterson recorded their first collegiate singles victories against Loras on March 6. … Henderson and Maddie Dosser (South St. Paul, Minn.) own a team-best seven doubles wins, one more than Henderson and Lois. … As a doubles team, Dosser and Henderson are a team-best 5-1. … With their 8-1 win over Northwestern on April 2, the Cardinals improved to 66-20 against nonconference opponents since 2012.
  GUSTAVUS GUSTIES SCOUTING REPORT
The Gusties enter the weekend perfect in 2021, boasting a 10-0 overall record, including three straight wins to open the conference slate. … Gustavus has posted 9-0 sweeps in seven of its 10 victories this season — the lone exceptions: 7-2 wins over UW-Whitewater and Luther to open the season on March 5-6, and a 6-3 win over Southwestern Minnesota State on March 21. … The Gusties have won their last four matches by 9-0 counts, including victories over Hamline and Saint Benedict last weekend. … Sydney Douglas, Rachel Lindrud, and Anna Stutz are all a perfect 7-0 in singles play this season, while Simona Potockova and Ginger Valentine are both 7-1. … Valentine has played all eight of her matches at No. 1 singles, while Potockova eight matches have all been at No. 2. … GAC has used seven different players at No. 5 singles, while six different Gusties have played at No. 4 and No. 6 singles. … As a team, Gustavus is 54-4 in singles play — including a perfect 10-0 at No. 4. Gustavus has not lost more than one match at any of the six singles positions. … Potockova, Stutz, Valentine, and Hannah Borgh lead the Gusties with seven doubles wins. … GAC is 26-3 in doubles play through 10 matches.
  CONCORDIA COBBERS SCOUTING REPORT
After opening the season dropping their first four matches — all by 9-0 counts — the Cobbers entered the weekend riding a two-match winning streak to push its record to 2-4 overall. … Concordia defeated Northwestern 5-4 and St. Scholastica 7-2 to account for its two wins. … Brianna Bell and Jenna Forknell have each won two singles matches to account for half of the Cobbers' eight singles wins this season. … Raquel Egge is the only Cobber to have played at the same singles position in all six matches, going 1-5 at No. 1. … CC has had three different players compete at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6 singles. … As a team, CC is 8-28 in singles play — including 2-4 at No. 2 and No. 4, while going 1-5 at the other four positions. … CC is 4-14 in doubles with Egge/Forknell and Anna Hacker/Greta Reichmann each teaming for a pair of wins.
