  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
• A YEAR AGO: The Cardinals finished 3-6 in conference play in 2021, while posting a 7-6 overall record.
• POST-SEASON HONORS: Zoie Becker was named First-Team All-MIAC in singles play in 2021 — it was the first all-conference honor of her collegiate career.
• RACKING UP THE WINS: Zoie Becker (St. James, Minn.) closed out the 2021 season winning four of her last five matches to end the year with a team-high 11 singles wins. Becker, who finished the pandemic-shortened 2020 season at 9-2, now owns a 20-4 career singles record.
• COLLEGIATE FIRSTS: The Cardinals had four athletes record their first collegiate singles wins in 2021 — Sarrianna Hoffer (Wausau, Wis.), Emily Henderson (Jordan, Minn.), Natalie Peterson (St. Cloud, Minn.), and Maddie Dosser (South St. Paul, Minn.).
• HOME SWEET HOME: Six of the Cardinals' seven wins in 2021 came on their home court, where SMU finished 6-3. Saint Mary's — which played nine of its 13 matches at the Winona Tennis Center — picked up its lone road win with a 7-2 victory over Saint Benedict on April 10.
• TEAMING UP: As a doubles team, Colleen Lois (Green Bay, Wis.)/Natalie Peterson (St. Cloud, Minn.) ended 2021 with a team-leading six doubles victories, going 6-5 — all at No. 1.
• BUSY SENIOR YEAR: Colleen Lois (Green Bay, Wis.) — the Cardinals' lone senior in 2021 — was the only Cardinal to play all 13 matches at the same position, going 6-7 at No. 1 singles.
• DOMINANCE: The Cardinals' season-ending 7-2 win over Concordia on April 18, 2021 pushed their winning streak against the Cobbers to eight straight.
• TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS: With their 8-1 win over Northwestern on April 2, the Cardinals improved to 66-20 against nonconference opponents since 2012.
