Â
"This was a great win against a very good Concordia team," said Saint Mary's wonen's tenis coach
Jeff Halberg. "Everyone contributed to a solid team win."
Â
The doubles teams of
Maggie Frye (Colorado Springs, Colo.)/
Kailee Johnson (Rochester, Minn.) and

Maddie Dosser (South St. Paul, Minn.) delivered 8-5 victories to give Saint Mary's a 2-1 lead after the three doubles matches.
Â
Natalie Peterson (St. Cloud, Minn.)/
Kennedy Morgan (Green Bay, Wis.) nearly gave Saint Mary's a clean sweep in doubles play, only to fall 8-7 (6) in a marathon match at No. 1.
Â
Peterson and Morgan were both victorious in singles play, posting straight-set wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, while
Zoie Becker (St. James, Minn.) and Henderson each chipped in straight set wins to seal the victory.
Â
Frye and Dosser came out on the short-end of three-set decisions in the other two singles matches, with Frye falling 3-6, 7-5, 13-11 at No. 4 and Dosser losing 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 10-6 at No. 6.
