Chris Bulwa (Glenview, Ill.) has led the Saint Mary's track and field teams all outdoor season — and the season-ending Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships was no exception.

Bulwa qualified for the finals in both the 100 and 200 in leading the way for the Cardinals during Day 1 of the two-day outdoor championships at Bethel University.

Bulwa stopped the clock in 21.93 to finish fifth in the qualifying heats of the 200, while breaking the tape in 11.04 — the eighth-fastest time — in the 100.
Oliver Adamson (Rochester, Minn.) also reached the finals in the 200 with a ninth-place qualifying time of 22.38, but missed the finals in the 100, finishing with a time of 11.31.

Sydney Jackman (Litchfield, Minn.) led the way for the Cardinals in finals events on Friday, placing fifth in the shot put with a heave of 12.34 meters, while Casen Fritz (Minnesota City) recorded a throw of 45.04 meters to place eighth in the hammer and Samantha Kubes (New Prague, Minn.) was 10th in the shot put with a mark of 11.54 meterrs.

Other top performers on Friday included Ben Kritsberg (Rosemount, Minn. / 100, 11.31),
Antonio Cisewski (Custer, Wis. / long jump, 17th, 6.07m), and
Dan Cooper (Belle Plaine, Minn. / long jump, 20th, 5.86m).

The women's 4x800 relay team of Caroline Gearin (Osceola, Wis.), Caeli McMahon (Holmen, Wis.), Megan Frosch (Oconomowoc, Wis.), and Abbie Meyer (Sauk Centre, Minn.) chipped in an eighth-place time of 10:13.70

The two-day event concludes on Saturday, with field events starting at noon, followed by track events kicking off at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minn.
