ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — After putting one runner through to the finals in two events, and getting Top 10 performances from Sydney Jackman (Litchfield, Minn.), Casen Fritz (Minnesota City, Minn.), and Samantha Kubes (New Prague, Minn.) during Friday's opening day of the MIAC Outdoor Championships, the Saint Mary's track and field teams picked up right where they left off on Saturday.

The men's 4x100 relay kicked things off for the Cardinals in the first event of the afternoon, as Ben Kritsberg (Rosemount, Minn.), Chris Bulwa (Glenview, Ill.), Brady Johnson (Elburn, Ill.), and Oliver Adamson (Rochester, Minn.) stopped the clock in 42.58 to place fifth overall, earning the quartet honorable-mention All-MIAC honors.

And things just got better from there.

Kubes delivered an all-conference performance in the hammer throw, earning All-MIAC honors with a third-place toss of 48.67 meters, while Anna Becker (Cannon Falls, Minn.) chipped in an eighth-place throw of 44.98 meters. Kubes — who placed 10th in the shot put on Friday — completed her MIAC trifecta with a 17th-place showing in the discus (25.65m).

Bulwa had a busy 50 minutes on Saturday, as the sophomore earned honorable-mention All-MIAC honors by clocking a time of 11.01 to place fifth in the 100 — moving up three places from his 11.04, eighth-place qualifying time — before turning around and adding a second-straight honorable-mention All-MIAC performance in the 200, stopping the clock in 22.11.

And Bulwa's busy afternoon wasn't over.

With three honorable-mention honors already tucked away, he teamed with Adamson, Johnson, and Garrett Jackson (West Linn, Ore.) to place ninth in the 4x400, with as time of 3:25:06.

Along with his two legs in the 4x100 and 4x400, Johnson also delivered a 10th-place showing in the triple jump with a mark of 12.83 meters, with Dan Cooper (Belle Plaine, Minn.) chipping in a leap of 11.78 meters to finish 15th.

The women's 4x400 relay team of Caeli McMahon (Holmen, Wis.), Abbie Meyer (Sauk Centre, Minn.), Megan Frosch (Oconomowoc, Wis.), and Caroline Gearin (Osceola, Wis.), closed things out for the Cardinals on Saturday, posting a time of 4:16.65 to place 10th.

The Cardinal men finished 10th in the team standings, while the SMU women finished the championships in 11th.
