BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced the 2024-25 MIAC Women's Tennis Awards on Tuesday.

Graduate student Alli Laux and sophomore Elena Ruzevich earned All-Conference honors from the MIAC.

Earning spots on both the All-Conference Singles and Doubles teams, Onalaska native Laux made an immediate impact after joining the Cardinals this semester. She quickly took over the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles, winning 13 of her remaining matches in singles.

She teamed up with Ruzevich at the No. 1 doubles spot, and together they won 11 matches.

The Gustavus transfer earned her third career All-Conference Singles honor and her second All-Conference Doubles recognition.

As just a sophomore, Chicago native Elena Ruzevich earned her first MIAC honor with a selection to the All-Conference Doubles Team. She rotated between the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, consistently delivering strong performances. Prior to teaming up with Laux, she secured two of the team's three fall duel victories and totaled 14 wins on the season.

In singles, she shifted between the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, but it didn't faze her—she delivered dominant performances regardless, racking up 13 singles victories.

Together, the duo helped lead the Cardinals to a 13-8 overall record—the program's best since the 2018–19 season—and an eighth-place finish in the MIAC.
