JACKSON, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University men's tennis team hits the road this weekend, taking on Milwaukee School of Engineering (4:30 p.m.) and Concordia-Wisconsin (7 p.m.) at the Pleasant Valley Tennis Center in Jackson, Wis., before heading to the Moorland Tennis Center in New Berlin, Wis. for a 10 a.m. match against Carroll on Sunday.

The Falcons are coming off back-to-back 5-4 decisions — a 5-4 win over University of Dubuque on Feb. 12 and a 5-4 loss to Lawrence last Saturday. … CU's win over University of Dubuque was the Falcons' first of the season and snapped a season-opening three-match losing streak. … CU split its six singles matches vs. Lawrence last Saturday, with Skip Turner, Nathan Hoeppner and Garrett Wells winning for the Falcons. … Turner and Wells each needed three sets for their singles wins vs. Lawrence. … Hoeppner and Turner have each collected a team-leading three wins in the teams' five matches this season. … Turner and Pat Schramka, meanwhile, are 3-2 in doubles competition.

After opening the season with a 7-2 home loss to Elmhurst, the Pioneers have rattled off three straight wins — all by 9-0 counts. … The Pioneers won 11 of their 12 singles matches against Knox and Judson in straight sets.
