ELKHORN, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University women's tennis team picked up wins in two of the three doubles matches, then held off Edgewood in the singles portion to post a 6-3 nonconference victory over the Eagles Saturday.

Killian Edwards (Fond du Lac, Wis.) collected one of the Cardinals' doubles victories, winning 8-5 at No. 1, while Deanne Weber (Reedsburg, Wis.) and Kristina Wahl (Elgin, Ill.) added an 8-5 win of their own at No. 3.
The Edwards sisters completed their perfect day with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, as Bailey won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, while Killian was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 2.
Rachel Luetmer (Loretto, Minn.) earned her first collegiate win with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph at No. 5, while Weber added a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 6.
The Cardinals, who improve to 4-4 overall, are back in action on Monday, traveling to Saint Mary's College (Ind.) for a nonconference match.
