WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University tennis teams begin a busy home weekend at the Winona Tennis Center with the women hosting UW-La Crosse at 6 p.m. on Friday. Both teams then host Hamline on Saturday, with the men's match set for noon and the women's at 2 p.m.

Bobby Steingraeber (La Crosse, Wis.) added an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles, but that was all SMU would manage in a
6-3, season-ending loss to the Pipers.

The Cardinals closed out their regular season on a high note, collecting a
7-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Hamline that also locked up an MIAC post-season tournament berth.
