WINONA, Minn. — There are plenty of ways you can introduce Saint Mary's University's Bailey Edwards (Fond du Lac, Wis.).

There's Bailey Edwards, single-season record-holder for singles wins.

Or Bailey Edwards, career record-holder for singles and doubles wins.

As of Tuesday, you can add yet another — Bailey Edwards, two-time All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection in both singles and doubles.

Edwards earned her second straight all-conference selections after a stellar junior season in which she collected 13 singles and 13 doubles dual-match wins, before an injury sidelined her for the final two weeks of the season.

Despite the injury, Edwards' 13 wins at No. 1 singles were second to Gustavus' Sam Frank's league-leading 14 No. 1 singles victories, while her 13 doubles wins were also second in the MIAC.

Along with her 13 dual-match wins, Edwards also picked up three singles wins in reaching the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional, giving her a school-record 17 singles wins this season. Those 17 wins also moved Edwards to the top of the heap in career singles victories with 43. Edwards also owns the program's career doubles wins record, entering her senior season in 2012 with 37 doubles victories.

The 2011 MIAC Chris Evert Award was awarded to Carleton senior Abigail Ho. The award annually recognizes a senior tennis student-athlete with outstanding sportsmanship and exemplary athletic, academic, and humanitarian accomplishments. Saint Benedict's Scott Larsen, meanwhile was named the 2011 MIAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year. Larsen,

As part of the conference-wide sportsmanship initiative, the MIAC also announced the fifth annual All-MIAC Sportsmanship team for women's tennis, which included SMU's Andrea Allis (Wells, Minn.).
