On the flip side, Concordia's three wins have all been by different results — a 7-2 win over Capital University, a 5-4 win over Hanover College and a 6-3 victory over Alma College. … Devin Larson entered the weekend boasting a team-best four singles wins, one better than Peter Dahlberg and Will Granrud. … Kevin Schwandt headed into Saturday's match against Macalester riding a two-match winning streak at No. 6 singles. … The Cobbers have used nine different doubles combinations, with Granrud and Loren Johnson going 3-1 at No. 3 to account for three of CC's six doubles wins this season. … Under the direction of head coach Troy Hanestad, Concordia has earned a spot in the MIAC playoffs in two of the past five seasons and made it to the MIAC semifinals in 2007.
