LAKEVILLE, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's tennis team plays its final match before head south for its spring break trip, as the Cardinals square off against Bethel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Lakeville Lifetime Fitness.

March 16, 2012: SMU earned the No. 25 regional ranking from the ITA early in the afternoon, and that evening, the Cardinals showed why they were considered among the top teams in the Central Region, as SMU grabbed a 2-1 lead after the doubles play and cruised to a 7-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over Bethel at the Winona Tennis Center.

The Cardinals head to Orlando, Fla., for three nonconference matches, as SMU squares off against King's College, Berry (Ga.)
